Q: What is the difference between framed and frameless shower door?

A: Framed shower door are made of thinner glass and rely on metal for strength, while frameless shower doors are made of thicker glass and do to not require metal framing.

Q: How do I measure for a shower door?

A: Measure the width of your shower opening after the tile or finished wall material has been installed. Check to ensure that your walls are plumb and that your shower base or tub is level.

Q: How do I clean my Shower door?

A: Use a rubber squeegee after each use to remove water spots and mineral deposits. you can also use a NON-Ammonia glass cleaner.

Q: What type of glass is used for shower doors?

A: Shower doors are made of tempered glass, which is stronger and safer than regular glass. Some shower doors may also have a protective coating to repel water and prevent water spots.

Q: Can I install a shower door myself?

A: It is not recommended to install a shower door yourself unless you have prior experience. Frameless glass shower installation requires exact installation to ensure a leak-proof enclosure. 

 

Q: What is the difference between a hinged door and a pivot door?

A: A hinged door is attached directly to the wall or stationary glass and opens like an interior door. A pivot door has a pivot assembly attached to a wall profile system and does not require studs behind the finished walls for installation.
